Next Step Initiative
Growing Together

For over 8 years HCF has taken one Sunday a month for a ‘round table time’ in which we recreated a small group setting where people can connect, share and be in the Word together. We have found that this values each person in our family as having a voice and an opportunity to contribute to encouraging and receiving from others.
In September 2024 HCF launched the Next Step Initiative, restructuring our Sunday gatherings to create small group equipping within the Sunday experience 3 weeks of the month. This helps us to make more intimate connections during our Sunday gathering time which helps with encouragement, accountability, and support.
The church (ecclesia) is us, the people, and we believe that the mandate of Ephesians 4:11-16 is a key for the coming harvest – to raise up disciples who equip and disciple others.

Why Israel

Let’s dig in and discover what God’s Word says about its important role in His ongoing plan, AND the important role of non-Jews in the same plan.
Kingdom Kids
Bible Numbers
Bible Numbers
The Bible is filled with significant numbers. No matter how you look at them, the numbers add up to one thing: Our God is Great! Objective: Kids will learn that God’s greatness is undeniable.
Memory Verse: “He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.” Psalm 147:4-5
There are many different animals in the Bible. We can look at the stories of these animals to learn
powerful lessons of obedience, love and how we can live God’s way.
Kids will learn that God’s way is the best way.
Memory Verse: “Lord, show me your ways. Teach me how to follow you.” Psalm 25:4
Creative Communion
Our walks with God don’t ever have to be boring! We can engage in so much more to connect
with the Lord other than just ‘doing a daily reading.’ Over three weeks we will explore examples from the Bible of how God calls us to commune with Him in creative ways and explore new possibilities for our
own intimate communion with Jesus. We read in Scripture how the Lord dramatically met people in everyday life and He is calling us to ‘come away’ and meet with Him as well.
A Bible and journal will be helpful for this class.
